Property tax assessments · Calgary
Levyx checks your assessment against the City's own numbers, then handles the review if it's too high. Condos, houses and whole buildings.
30% of first-year savings, only if your assessment comes down. $0 if it doesn't.
The City values every property in Calgary at once, from sales and its own records. These are the mistakes worth checking, strongest first.
The City has the size, bedrooms, parking or year built wrong.
Damage or overdue repairs the City couldn't see, as of December 31.
Identical units, or similar homes nearby, assessed lower than yours.
Comparable properties sold for less than your assessment says.
Two numbers from the City's own data: one building we checked, and what happened when owners filed together.
Two units came out above identical units in the same building: about $37,000 and $21,000 of assessed value.

You send an address. We do the rest, and nothing goes to the City without your go-ahead.
Condo, house or a whole building. The check is free.
Against the City's own roll: identical units, similar homes, past values. You get what we find by email.
If it's worth challenging, you authorize us in myTax, the City's owner portal.
The January review is free. A formal complaint only if it's needed.
30% of the first year's savings, the same for everyone, condo or house. If your assessment doesn't come down, you pay $0.
Worked example. A $37,000 cut in assessed value, at the 2026 residential rate of 0.66499%, saves about $246 in the first year. The 30% would be $74.
If a formal complaint is needed, the City charges its own complaint fee ($50, or $40 before Jan 31). It's yours to pay, and only then: most cases should settle in the free City review first. The City refunds it on a win or settlement. We don't cover it or charge it.
Check now, and you'll know before the notice does.
